LIBS Commercial providers (DRAFT)
Here's a list of the commercial providers of LIBS imaging and other LIBS equipment that I'm familiar with. Note that this is heavily biased towards mining applications, in other fields such as metal manufacturing there are many other providers. Note that the author(me) is affiliated with Lumo Analytics.
See also list of LIBS research groups page.
LIBS imaging providers
Lumo Analytics
https://www.lumoanalytics.com/) sells LIBS imaging services focused on drill core analysis. They are based in Helsinki, Finland. The speciality is fast analysis with high throughput LIBS scanner that images full box at a time and can keep up real time with mining and ore exploration operations.
Most of the results, examples, and data on this website are acquired with either Lumo's device or one of multiple earlier prototype versions of it.
Lightigo
Lightigo(https://lightigo.com/) sells Firefly LIBS imaging device. They are based in Brno, Czech Republic

Ablatom
Ablatom(https://www.ablatom.com/) They are based in Villeurbanne(next to Lyon), France.
Provides ELM-XS-I LIBS imager and custom LIBS setups.
AtomTrace
AtomTrace(https://www.atomtrace.com/) They are based in Brno, Czech Republic.
Atomtrace LIBS elements spectral database is a great resource for LIBS element reference spectra combining multiple spectral database sources and showing them in the same graphs. Atomtrace combines multiple spectrometers in one setup to get extra wide light spectrum with high resolution.
Atomtrace experimental data example (can I publish)
Elemission
https://www.elemission.ca/ They are based in Montreal, Canada.
Other commercial LIBS equipment
Keyence LIBS Microscope
Keyence(https://www.keyence.eu/) has built a digital microscope with integrated LIBS. So you can see the exact spot you are shooting LIBS at in the microscope screen and the resulting crater after. Good microscope optics allows doing LIBS impressively with low power class 1 laser making the device eyesafe, as opposed to class 4 lasers normally used in LIBS equipment. The signal levels are lower than above mentioned equipment but it's enough to identify and quantize many elements.
LIBS Handheld devices listing
Multiple companies are providing handheld LIBS analyzers for quick and easy LIBS measurements. A search on alibaba.com (early 2025) reveals about dozen different handheld LIBS manufacturers or providers. Below is a table showing these products. The price range seems to be between 10000 and 50000 euros. Most of them seem to be purposed as metal alloy analyzers but there's no reason why the same device couldnt measure other materials as well.
Some, like SciAps Z-903, can do also some scanning operation. SciAps Z-903 experimental data. Can I share?
