Description

The series of female portraits "Olen ulkomalainen, olen kaunis" ("I am a foreigner, I am beautiful") wants to show the beauty of young foreign women migrated to Finland. During my stay in Finland, I met many migrants searching for a better life: students, workers, asylum seekers. I photographed some of my dear female friends with the backdrop of the Finnish nature to show that they belong in this country, no matter their place of birth.
