I am an associate professor (tenured) at Department of Computer Science at School of Science, Aalto University, Finland. I am leading the AaltoSEA Group on Systems and Services Engineering Analytics. I am also a Priv.-Doz. (Adjunct Associate Professor) at the Faculty of Informatics, TU Wien.

Research

I am currently leading the AaltoSEA Group on Systems and Services Engineering Analytics. My research is in the field of distributed systems and large-scale software systems. My main research interest focuses novel techniques and methods for Software, Data and Services Systems. Furthermore, i am interested in (free) ICT solutions for (under) developing countries. Quality of Analytics for Machine Learning Systems

Teaching

My teaching is focused on advanced research-oriented topics with a strong emphasis on learning through the development and implementation of projects and new ideas. I wrote some of my pedagogical works and thoughts. I am responsible for the Big Data and Large-scale study track of Master's Programme in Computer Science.

Consulting

My contribution to practice is through my industrial consulting activities and knowledge transfer in my core expertise. My consulting activities, including training, are cloud technologies, IoT platforms, and big data analytics. I setup DAIENSO Lab for developing solutions transforming business with IoT-Edge-Cloud Continuum/Machine Learning. I am a co-founder of Solint which focuses on Fintech platforms in Africa. I have been an advisor for LARION, helping the design and engineering of the large-scale service platform powering Atalink B2B2C. and I was a co-founder of I & A Computing Lab.
