I am an associate professor (tenured) at Department of Computer Science at School of Science, Aalto University, Finland. I am leading the AaltoSEA Group on Systems and Services Engineering Analytics. I am also a Priv.-Doz. (Adjunct Associate Professor) at the Faculty of Informatics, TU Wien.

I am a co-founder of Daienso Lab, Vietnam. I am also a co-founder of Solint Oy, Finland, which develops and deployes EpesiPay platform in Kenya

I am currently leading the AaltoSEA Group on Systems and Services Engineering Analytics. My research is in the field of distributed systems and large-scale software systems. My main research interest focuses novel techniques and methods for Software, Data and Services Systems. Furthermore, i am interested in (free) ICT solutions for (under) developing countries. My teaching is focused on advanced research-oriented topics with a strong emphasis on learning through the development and implementation of projects and new ideas. I wrote some of my pedagogical works and thoughts. I am responsible for the Big Data and Large-scale Computing study track of Master's Programme in Computer Science.

Vertical Co-Chair, Engineering and Manufacturing, 2025 IEEE Conference on Artificial Intelligence

My contribution to practice is through my industrial consulting activities and knowledge transfer in my core expertise. My consulting activities, including training, are cloud technologies, IoT platforms, and big data analytics. I was an advisor for LARION, architecting the platform of the large-scale service platform powering Atalink B2B2C. and I was a co-founder of I & A Computing Lab (shutdown), Vietnam.
