About me

I am a doctoral candidate in the Distributed and Pervasive System group at Aalto University in Finland under the supervision of Prof. Mario Di Francesco. My research is focused on implementing solutions to convey information to users through pervasive devices.

Previously, I received my master degree with distinction in Computer Science at the same university in 2015 with the project "Visual wireless communications with smartphones". This project is an application to exchange data between smartphones by using its screen and front-facing camera. During my master degree, I had the opportunity to work as a research assistant in the Department of Computer Science where my work was related to re-design of the user interface for an application used by an electronic lock through bluetooth communication.

Furthermore, I enjoy coding and learning new languages. I have programming skills in different languages including C, Java, Python and Javascript. In 2015, I attended HackZurich, a hackathon where my application was chosen among the 25 finalists out of 120 applications.

My research interests include low power consumption solutions, reliability of data communication, human computer interaction and machine learning.
