We are looking for a highly motivated post-doctoral researcher to work on thermophotonic and electrochemical energy converters based on III-V compound semiconductors. The position mainly deals with epitaxial growth and material development and fully integrates with our group's activities in fabricating, analysing or designing III-V devices in collaboration with a versatile research team of theoreticians and experimentalists. Depending on your background, you will have several avenues to contribute to the experimental work of our group aiming to demonstrate the next break-throughs in solid state cooling and electrochemical energy converters, such as thermophotonic refrigerators [1][2].

Our wish list for the selected candidate includes:

A succesful candidate is likely to be an ambitious and resourceful researcher wanting to master high efficiency compound semiconductor device fabrication, design and analysis. You will be working in a research team of ~10 persons working on closely connected topics.
