Teaching

I am a postdoctoral researcher of Helsinki Institute for Information Technology HIIT and Aalto University, where I am part of the Ubiquitous Interaction group. Previously I was a visiting research scholar of the Human Computer Interaction Institute at Carnegie Mellon University. I hold a PhD in Computer Engineering from the University of Palermo, Italy.

My research areas are intelligent interactive systems, human-computer interaction, creativity, and ubiquitous computing. I am particularly interested in understanding how to support people in a variety of ubiquitous, social, and collaborative settings through novel methods and technologies that enable seamless and access to information.
